Come and see

There is someone you know, maybe it’s you, who is searching.

Jesus calls, “Come and see.”

Someone you know, and maybe it’s you is

Looking for hope.

Waiting for answers.

Wondering why.

Examining their lives and coming up wanting.

Just hoping for a glimpse: of hope, love, light, life, joy.

Jesus calls, “Come and see.”

But what if the only voice that Jesus can use is yours?

What if the only hands of Christ’s peace and comfort reaching out are yours?

What if you are the glimpse of hope, love, light, life and joy that someone has been seeking?

This  Sunday–we and the disciples answer Jesus’ invitation to come and see.  Not because we’re especially worthy, but because we’re loved, and Jesus is calling.

Jesus calls, “Come and see.”

I’ll see you on Sunday,

Pastor Heather

  1. The poem is beautiful. You are always challenging us to step out of the box and think about Jesus and our lives in a different way; thank you for that.
