A future with hope looks like…

This summer, our worship has focused on “A Future with Hope,” based on Marcia McFee’s series.  We’ve used the metaphor of seed, germination, and planting so far to help us think about God’s possibilites, God’s vision, and God’s timing.  We’ve considered what it means to be deeply rooted, while reaching for the light.

This week, we hear what hope looks like in practical terms.  Last month, our youth traveled to Washington DC, to serve with children, elderly and homeless people.  This Sunday, after having some time to reflect on their experiences, they’ll be sharing what they learned.

A future with hope…empowered youth loving their neighbors, here, there and everywhere.
